The Bren Del Win Centennial Library is
located in Deloraine, Manitoba (Main) with a branch located in the
Waskada School. We serve the town of Deloraine, the village of Waskada
and the rural municipalities of Winchester and Brenda.
History The Library was established in January of 1980, in what had
been Glynn North's law office, the former Kirkwood school was added on
shortly afterward and in 1990 another piece was built on the back to
accomodate the library's growth. The Branch in Waskada was formed in
2005.
Hours : The Main Branch is open Tuesday through Saturday
from 9:00 to 11:30 and 12:30-5:00. The Library is closed Saturdays
during July and August. The Waskada Branch is open at various time
during the day depending on the School Schedule and from 3-6 on Tuesday
and Thursday.
The Library is a public library, but we also have microfilm copies of the local paper The Deloraine Times and Star from 1887 available for viewing. The Local Hall of Fame materials are also displayed here.
The Library also has Public access computers and wireless access for Public use.
